HOW TO SEND DIGITAL CASES

To Connect on 3Shape...

Log in to your 3Shape Communicate account.
Navigate to Connections (or Add Connection) in the menu.
Enter Chris Dental Laboratory or chrisdentallab@yahoo.com.
Send a connection request to the lab.
Once the lab accepts, select the lab from your list when sending a case.

To Connect on Dentsply Sirona Case Connect Center...

Note: Connect Case Center is being discontinued for dentists, and DS Core is replacing it. However, if still available in your region for setup:

Log in to the Connect Case Center via your scanner or Connect SW.
Complete the digital order form after scanning.
In the Practice/Lab selection field, search for Chris Dental Laboratory, Inc. (at 8604 Harford Road)
Select and connect to the lab.
Send the case.

(If this portal is no longer accessible to you, transition to DS Core is required.)

To Email Case Files...

Place all case files (STL files, scans, photos, and any supporting documents) into a single folder on your computer. Name the folder clearly using the doctor’s name, patient ID or case number, and restoration type (example: LF_12345_Zirconia). Once all files are in one folder, compress (zip) the folder before emailing.

To zip the folder on Windows: right-click the folder and select Send to → Compressed (zipped) folder.
To zip the folder on Mac: right-click (or Control-click) the folder and select Compress "Folder Name.”

After zipping the folder, attach the ZIP file to a new email using the Attach File icon and wait for it to fully upload. In the body of the email, please copy and paste the template below and complete the requested information.

To Connect on DS Core...

(Note: DS Core is the modern cloud platform that has replaced Connect Case Center — Connect Case Center is being phased out, and dentists should transition to DS Core.)

Sign up or log in to DS Core at DSCore.com.
Navigate to the Lab directory or Preferred Labs section within the portal.
Search for Chris Dental Laboratory, Incorporated
Add the lab to your Preferred Labs or Connections list.
When creating a case/order, select your lab from the dropdown and complete the order details.
